Hee!
I'm not sure whether it was the part where we analyzed them to death or that I wasn't old enough when I read them to truly appreciate them, but some of the books we had to read just rubbed me the wrong way.
I'm of the believe that books should be read for enjoyment, not because some administrator decided they had some sort of literary value.
It might explain why most adults have only read 6 books on the list, though!
